The final four

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Lysistrata Jones at the Walter Kerr. It was a truly lovely group of people and big fun from start to finish. Fingers crossed for a cast recording so the Spartans can live on in song...

  • Dean is a total pro. Working with him I am always confident that the artistic needs of the production are being met 110% without ever sacrificing the bottom line. On top of that, he is an absolute pleasure to work with.
    Aaron Lustbader
    General Manager
    Alan Wasser Associates
  • Dean hires some of the finest musicians I have ever worked with. They enjoy their jobs, feel well taken care of, and give 100% all the time. His impressive organizational skills and attention to detail are matched only by his kindness and effortless leadership. Dean is also an exceptional musician and a wonderful colleague.
    Bartlett Sher
    Director
  • I like Dean. He smells good. He is not bad looking. But most importantly, I really like working with him. He is a conscientious and detail-oriented collaborator. He rocks, rolls, listens, and is deeply dedicated to the work. Oh, and he is funny too.
    Kurt Deutsch
    President
    Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records
  • Not only did Dean hire a first-rate ensemble of truly fine players, they were also great to get on with, making my work an absolute pleasure. As a music producer, Dean also brings world class expertise and focus to the often perfunctory enterprise of cast recordings. I really hope we can work together again.

  • Dean is fast, decisive, masterful behind the console, and has brilliant ideas. He gave my record 3 Balloons a shape and sound that I simply could not have, and I am a genius.
    Stephen Lynch
    Recording Artist
  • Dean made the Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson album everything we were hoping for. It sounds better and more polished than the live show, yet still captures all its energy and immediacy.
    Michael Friedman
    Composer
  • As both a musician and administrator, Dean is sensitive, focussed, and in command. For Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, he also put together one of the best orchestras I have ever heard.
    David Yazbek

  • Thanks to Dean’s fine work, Women On The Verge was one of the smoothest running and best sounding shows I've done.
